Tamekoshi is a tiny companion at the top of your screen. It watches your coding agents, remembers your meetings and answers when you ask — without ever pulling you out of flow.
Your agent needs you — click Allow up in the notch.
Plays nicely with the tools you already use
Your agents are fast. Your meetings are long. You check on both a hundred times a day. Tamekoshi brings everything to the one place you never stop looking — the top of your screen.
One island
Four superpowers. Zero new windows.
01 — Agents
Your agents, on a short leash.
Watch Claude Code — plus Gemini CLI and Antigravity on Mac, Cursor and Codex on Windows and Linux — read, edit and run, step by step. Approve with one click. On Mac, jump to the terminal; on Windows and Linux, open the project in VS Code.
Allow / Deny right where you're looking
One pill per session, side by side
If Tamekoshi isn't running, hooks exit instantly. Never blocks.
02 — Meetings
Every meeting, remembered.
Live transcription runs entirely on your machine with Whisper, Moonshine or Nemotron. Computer audio and mic in one timeline, speakers labeled, smart notes linked back to the exact moment.
Decisions and action items, sourced to the second
Opt-in Auto Answer when someone asks you a question
Export to Markdown, text or JSON
03 — Chat
Ask anything. With context.
Claude, GPT, Gemini, OpenRouter, Ollama and more — bring your own key or sign in. Drop a file on the notch. On Windows and Linux, recall past meetings with @meetings and plug in any MCP server.
Separate, titled conversations per companion
Voice dictation with a local model (Windows & Linux)
Opt-in computer use, with dangerous actions blocked
04 — Vault
Secrets that stay secret.
A local, encrypted vault for logins, cards, identities and secure notes. Share a single item with your companion for a single turn — explicitly, never by default.
Encrypted on disk, keys in your OS keychain
Masked fields, per-item sharing
Nothing leaves your machine unless you say so

Companions
Not a notification. A colleague.
Build a crew. Each companion gets its own name, face, model, notes and tools — and you can @mention them into the same chat to argue it out. Drawn live in code at 60 fps. Go ahead, poke one.
Hi! Give me a name.

A language of states
Read the room in a single glance.
Color, eyes and motion tell you what's happening from across the room — before you read a single word. Hover any of them.
Crafted
The details we obsessed over.
Drop it on the notch.
Your companion turns into a little box and swallows the file. Then ask about it — or, on Mac, email it.
PDFQ3-report.pdf
Every session, in miniature.
Each agent session and each companion gets its own tiny coloured buddy in the island, showing its state at a glance.
No account to create. No telemetry to opt out of. Transcription runs on your machine, keys live in your OS keychain, and Tamekoshi only talks to the services you plug in.

1
Download & launch
Your companion pops out of the notch and says hi.
2
Install hooks in one click
Tamekoshi backs up your agent config, merges its hooks and shows you the diff before writing anything.

Get back to work
It hides when idle and peeks out the moment something needs you.
Native Swift 6 and SwiftUI. Lives in the notch — or in a slim bar on Macs without one.
macOS 15 or later
Windows
A transparent island that never steals focus. Meetings, vault and MCP included.
Windows 10 & 11
Linux
A layer-shell overlay on KDE, Hyprland, Sway, COSMIC and friends. AppImage, .deb and .rpm.

Questions, answered.
Will it ever block my agent?
No. If Tamekoshi isn't running, the hook exits immediately and your agent carries on as if nothing happened.
Which agents are supported?
Claude Code with live sessions and approvals everywhere. On Mac, Gemini CLI and Antigravity too; on Windows and Linux, Cursor and Codex. Any other agent can get its own pill by tagging its hook payload.
Does my audio or code leave my machine?
Transcription runs locally. Text only goes to an AI provider when you ask — using your own key or sign-in. There's no telemetry and no account.
Which AI models can I use?
Anthropic, OpenAI, Google, OpenRouter, Ollama and more. Bring an API key or sign in with a supported provider. Each companion can use a different model.
My Mac doesn't have a notch. Can I use it?
Absolutely. On an iMac, a Mac mini or a MacBook with the lid closed, it sits in a small bar at the top of the screen. Same on Windows and Linux.
A little companion. Coming soon.
Your crew is almost home.
Be first to know when Tamekoshi is ready to move into your notch.
